Is this AI feature available in Australia yet? (10 features, checked weekly)

Checked: 1 November 2026. New AI features often launch in the US first, and the news rarely says when they’ll reach Australia. This table lists ten of them, each with the sentence from the company’s own page that says where it works, and the day we read it. We check every row again each week and note what changed at the bottom.

Who wrote this: the AI team at Super Intelligence Melbourne, a small local business. We have no connection with Google, Anthropic, Apple or Amazon.

Which AI features work in Australia

“Yes” means the company’s own page names Australia (or Australian English). “Not yet” means it names other places and not Australia. “Partly” means some of the feature does and some doesn’t. If a page doesn’t say, we write that instead of guessing.

What this means for a Melbourne business

  • Google’s AI answers are already here. AI Overviews and AI Mode both work in Australia, so when someone asks Google about a shop or a service near them, an AI answer may come first. It’s worth searching your own business name and seeing what it says.
  • Google calling shops for customers: Google’s pages don’t say clearly whether its calling feature works in Australia, so we mark it “not confirmed”. Booking a table through AI Mode is listed for Australia.
  • Don’t plan around a US-only launch. Claude Duet has no date for Australia. Our Claude Duet guide lists what you can set up on the accounts you already have.

How we check

Once a week we open each company’s own help page, product page or announcement (not news stories), read it from Melbourne, and copy the sentence that says where the feature is available. If the sentence changes, we update the row and write it in the change log. If a page goes missing or stops saying, the row says so.
